More names land on trade block

First baseman Yonder Alonso and starting pitchers John Danks and Odrisamer Despaigne are among a slew of names that recently landed on the trade block.

Cleveland is shopping Alonso and Danks, as well as Robbie Erlin and Luiz Gohara as it tries to add a front-end starting pitcher. The Tribe have indicated other prospects could also be available.

Despaigne headlines a list of players Boston has added to the market, along with Kaleb Cowart, Drew Vettleson and DJ Davis. The rebuilding Braves are looking for young qualified players, picks or prospects.

Elsewhere, Las Vegas is trying to improve its lineup in several areas, particularly catcher, outfield and shortstop. The Gamblers are also seeking rotation help and are willing to trade almost anything in the right deal.
